Our Story

AyloCare was born from a personal journey of empathy and innovation. With a background as an Electrical and Computer Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and years of experience in the tech industry, I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by my wife, a dedicated mental health professional. Observing her navigate a competitive landscape with limited digital tools inspired me to envision a platform that gives therapists, psychiatrists, coaches, and wellness experts the tools to establish and grow their own digital presence.

Collaborating with my fellow university colleague, George Kalligeros, we combined our technical expertise and passion to create AyloCare. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive suite of tools enabling mental health and wellness professionals to build their digital brand and practice from the ground up, ensuring they can deliver high-quality services to those in need.

As AyloCare evolved, it became evident that meaningful impact in mental health technology requires deep understanding of clinical realities. This led us to welcome Nikoleta Petalidou as our third co-founder, bringing essential clinical perspective. Today, every feature is shaped by practicing mental health professionals, grounding the platform firmly in real-world practice.

We are European by design, global by ambition. From the first line of code, AyloCare was built to be GDPR-native, with professional (not automated) translations and deep cultural sensitivity to how different regions approach mental health care.

Our vision extends beyond technology; it's about crafting a platform with care and dedication, offering everyone the necessary tools to pursue their dreams and establish their own businesses. Through AyloCare, we aim to elevate the quality of services available.
