How it works
Three things happen. You are only involved in the first one.
1. A client pays you
By card through AyloCare, or in cash, by bank transfer or IRIS. However the money arrives, you record it once.
2. The receipt is issued
AyloCare creates a legal ΑΠΥ under your own series and running number, then prepares the PDF with the AADE MARK and QR code on it.
3. AADE receives it
Filing happens within seconds. If something goes wrong, AyloCare keeps trying on its own and only asks for you when it truly needs you.

Most commonPsychologist, psychotherapist or psychiatrist seeing a private patient. VAT exempt as a health service.
Coaching and training
Coaching, supervision, workshops or corporate training. Not a medical service, so standard VAT at 24% applies.
Small business regime
You are not registered for VAT because of your turnover. Here the exemption comes from your regime, not from the service.
Client outside Greece
Online sessions for a private individual abroad. Handled the same way as a private patient in Greece.
Every field stays editable if you or your accountant want something different.
What it does not cover
Invoices to companies, EAP schemes or insurers are B2B documents. From October 2026 those must be issued through an accredited provider, so your accountant handles them. AyloCare covers receipts to private clients, which is the daily reality of most practices.
AyloCare files what you tell it to file. Your accountant stays your accountant, and it is worth confirming your setup with them once at the start.
Questions therapists ask
No. Once your ΑΦΜ is connected, every completed payment issues a receipt and files it automatically. There is no button to remember and no separate step at the end of the month.
Your ΑΦΜ, the amount, the VAT treatment and the income category. Nothing that identifies your client. A retail receipt is not matched against the recipient, so patient confidentiality is never in question.
AyloCare retries on its own, spacing attempts out so a brief outage resolves itself. The status of every receipt is visible to you, and if something is genuinely stuck you are told rather than left to discover it later.
Yes. You cancel it at AADE from inside AyloCare and issue a correct one. The cancelled document keeps its number and is clearly marked as void, which is exactly how AADE expects corrections to look. Numbers are never reused.
No. You can issue a receipt to any recipient, including someone who is not in your client list, without touching the calendar. Therapists who use AyloCare only for invoicing work this way every day.
Not through AyloCare. Those are B2B documents with different rules and, from October 2026, a requirement to go through an accredited provider. Your accountant covers that side while AyloCare covers your private clients.
